Yup! RiSE Has reached prototype stage, which is a huge leap for us
and a giant leap for mankind.
Soon we will be in the investor ready stage. From then on, with a bit of luck, we can go on to do some fantastic things.
I am really looking forward to what we are able to achieve as a group, for almost a year now we have shared simmilar goals and passions for this and other projects. And that created some very driven individuals, with a great deal of experience in numerous fields of the entertainment niche. Soon, hopefully, this will come to fruition and provide us with the opportunity to expand our abilities to a whole new level.
Currently I am working on three large art pieces directly for my portfolio. All three have very different settings and concepts, I want to demonstrate my flexibility in creating a wide range of media. These are coming together slowly, I barely have an hour each day to commit to art now, but I try my best.
Once Lightwyrm comes through it will mean that I will finally have justification for the amount of time I need to spend in order to complete higher scale images, so hopefully you will get to see a great deal of work from me in the near future.
I am further delving into web design and the aspects of it. The Lightwyrm website has been in the works for over two months now and I have spent a good chunk of my time on tweaking it in order to take it to the the level that I would be satisfied with. RiSE also forced me to do and redo a great deal of sites [just check out this insanity of redesign:
Variation]
But in the end I just get the most valuable currency out of it, experience. If time is money then the time you spend on honing your skills is measured in fist sized diamonds.
Most probably won't realize it, but the 8hr Features are a very time consuming process. I have to be on at least twice an hour for that entire period of time in order to actually get enough artists to see the thread. Most other features take weeks or months due to the fact that the creator only really has to come in once a day and post a few replies to bump the thread up to top for a few minutes. 8 days later you get what I do in 8 hours.
But I still want to continue them as much as possible, as this allows me to show a much wider range of artists. To get to the point a bit faster: I will continue doing the 8hr features, just don't expect more than 3 a week.
I am going to give a rough estimate of 2 people getting this far through this journal, mostly because nobody reads journals these days. So thanks for giving it a read, too bad I have nothing to give you at this time
